Alta Death Rattle
The Death Rattle was birthed from the ashes of Alta Motorcycles, made by three of the company's former employees from the parts pile after the company was defunct. They picked up parts, headed to Vinny's house, and built this amazing flat tracker. Featuring an ultra-light chromoly frame, the Death Rattle is the realization of just one of the many dreams these designers had while working with the electric bike company.
Honda 500 ABC
The ABC 500 by Nikki Smart is a machine in a class of its own. 26-inch tires sit on custom carbon fiber wheels. A unique hossack-style front suspension utilizes a pull-shock housed underneath the gas tank. The chromoly steel swingarm pivots on the engine with a shock located underneath the seat.
CUSTOM BMW R100 RS
This 1988 BMW R100RS was built by Robert Sabel of Roughchild Motorcycles, but if you're familiar with custom Airheads, you probably already knew that. Roughchild has a way of keeping the aspects we love about classic BMW design, while modernizing and enhancing the overall aesthetic. Stop by Bike Shed LA to see this or any of the other BMWs Roughchild keeps on display.
