BMW R100s are all over the pages of sites like The Bike Shed, Pipeburn, EXIF and Iron & Air, but not many stand out like this build from Barcelona outfit, La Corona. The paintjob is what you see first. Bright gold snowflake wheels, white frame and tank with black & gold flashes and pinstripe, but look a little closer and you'll clock the details and it's then you realise that even in close-up this bike is super-sweet.

The hand ISR controls have integrated switch gear, linked to standard calipers on twin discs, which, back in the day were made by Brembo, and when in good condition they do a decent job of pulling the bike up to a stop. The usual pod style air filters complement wrapped La Corona headers and end cans.

The engine looks classy in matt black with gloss black highlighting the rocker covers and airbox cover. Mounted in the white frame and with the white drive-shaft the colour scheme all conspires to shrink the visual bulk of the bike. This is even further minimised by the gloss black on the lower flanks of the undersized tank. She looks tiny for a 'big' beemer.

High, 70s style dirtbike bars wear classic black grips, matching the black upholstered brat style seat which is made by La Corona, while the electrics and battery are all tucked out of sight under the swingarm pivot. A small headlamp with stone guard mounted flat to the bars join the mini speedo, keeping her looking ultra light at the front.

Even the plate holder is pretty. Cutdown fenders and Firestones finish the bike off, but it's the package as a whole that marks her out as a La Corona build, adding yet another superb bike to the growing mass of Spanish built customs that are totally owning the scene at the moment.
